This Privacy Policy explains how Lordan Labs LLC (“Lordan,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you use the Lordan app, website, and related support services.

1. Information We Process

Account and subscription information

  • Email address or provider identifier used for account access
  • Authentication information supplied through supported sign-in providers
  • Subscription status and transaction information supplied by Apple

Conversation input

We process text and microphone input that you choose to submit so Lordan can transcribe speech, generate a response, maintain short-term continuity, and apply safety controls.

Temporary continuity context

To preserve continuity between sessions, limited conversation context may be stored securely on Lordan’s cloud infrastructure for up to 24 hours. It is configured for automatic deletion after that period.

Vault content

Vault is optional and user-controlled. Items saved to Vault are encrypted and stored locally on your device. Lordan does not use Vault as a server-side conversation archive.

Technical, website, and support information

  • Device type, app version, diagnostic events, security logs, and similar technical data needed to operate and protect the service
  • Contact-form information you submit, including your name, email address, subject, and message
  • Limited website analytics by default unless you disable analytics through Privacy choices

2. What Lordan Does Not Do

  • We do not sell conversation content or personal data
  • We do not display third-party advertising
  • We do not build advertising profiles from conversations
  • We do not use conversation content to train Lordan-owned models
  • We do not intentionally retain raw audio recordings after processing is complete
  • We do not treat Vault as a cloud archive

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide account access, subscriptions, conversation modes, voice features, session continuity, and support
  • Generate responses and transcriptions through contracted AI and speech-processing providers
  • Apply rate limits, safety controls, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and service-security measures
  • Diagnose failures, improve reliability, and understand website usage unless analytics is disabled through Privacy choices
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

4. Retention

  • Temporary continuity context: retained for up to 24 hours, then configured for automatic deletion
  • Vault: stored on your device until you delete it or remove the app, subject to your device and backup settings
  • Raw audio: not intentionally retained by Lordan after transcription or response processing
  • Account and authentication data: retained while the account remains active and as needed for security, billing, legal, or deletion obligations
  • Support messages: retained as reasonably needed to respond, keep business records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations
  • Technical and security logs: retained for limited periods appropriate to reliability, security, and abuse prevention

5. Security Measures

Data is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Server-side systems use access controls, encryption provided by managed cloud infrastructure, environment separation, rate limiting, and monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security, but Lordan is designed to minimize the amount and duration of conversation data retained.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • Delete saved Vault items from your device
  • Request account deletion in the app
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple
  • Disable or re-enable website analytics through “Privacy choices” in the footer
  • Request access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under applicable privacy law

7. Age and Eligibility

Lordan is intended for users age 13 and older. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Lordan only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Lordan is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child under 13 in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate deletion steps.

8. Product Scope

Lordan is an educational and communication tool. It is not therapy, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or an emergency or crisis service.

9. Service Providers

Lordan relies on service providers for cloud infrastructure, authentication, billing, AI response generation, speech processing, email delivery, and website analytics. These providers process information to perform contracted functions and may have limited security or abuse-monitoring retention under their applicable terms and configurations.

Apple manages App Store distribution and billing. Your use of the Lordan app is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.

Website contact messages are delivered through Amazon Simple Email Service. Website analytics are provided through Google Analytics by default and can be disabled at any time through Privacy choices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, law, or technical architecture changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or website.
