Privacy Policy
Effective: March 1, 2026
Lordan Labs LLC — New Jersey, USA
At Lordan Labs, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use the Lordan app and website.
1. What We Collect
When you use Lordan, we may process only the minimal information needed to provide the service:
Account access
- Email address (for login codes)
- Authentication data required by Apple for Sign in with Apple
- Authentication data required by Google for Sign in with Google
- Subscription status managed through Apple’s App Store
Conversations
- Text or microphone input you choose to share
- Used only in real time to generate a reply
- Not stored on our servers after your session ends
Session memory. Lordan uses temporary session memory to maintain natural continuity during your ongoing conversation. This short-term memory is stored locally on your device and automatically deleted after 24 hours. No conversation data is stored on our servers.
Vault (optional, user-initiated). If you choose to save conversations to your Vault, those records are stored locally on your device. You control what is saved, and you can delete saved items at any time. Vault data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Device and technical data
- Non-identifiable logs such as device type, app version, and error reports
- Used only to keep the service secure and reliable
2. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not store or sell your conversations
- We do not track you across apps or websites
- We do not use your conversations to train AI models
- We do not keep audio recordings; they are processed in real time and discarded
- We do not display ads or share data with advertisers
- We do not use cookies or third-party analytics trackers
3. How We Use Information
We use the information you provide only to operate Lordan and deliver its features. Specifically:
- To let you sign in and manage your subscription
- To provide real-time voice or text responses in your chosen language
- To maintain security and prevent abuse (rate limiting, safety filters)
- To improve reliability and fix technical issues
The data we process is limited to what’s needed for these purposes:
- Microphone input (for voice features): Used in real time to create replies, not stored
- Email address: Used for login code access
- Session memory: Temporary, stored locally, and cleared after 24 hours
- Vault data: Stored locally on your device, controlled entirely by you
- Conversations: Processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses. These providers handle input only during the interaction and do not retain or store your conversations
4. Data Retention
- Conversations: Not stored on our servers
- Session memory: Stored locally on your device and automatically deleted after 24 hours
- Vault data: Stored locally on your device until you delete it
- Authentication logs: Kept only as long as needed for account access, billing, or legal compliance
- Subscription records: Retained as required by Apple and applicable tax law
5. Privacy & Security Measures
Stateless Servers
Lordan’s cloud functions operate without storing conversation history. Each reply is generated, delivered, and erased immediately.
Encryption
- In Transit — All communication is protected by TLS (HTTPS) encryption
- At Rest — Any minimal account or billing data is stored in encrypted databases managed through secure cloud infrastructure
End-to-End Safeguards
Only you can see your conversations. No transcripts, voice clips, or text logs are retained on our servers after your session ends.
Integrity Verification
Every active session runs on a verified and tamper-proof configuration. Lordan uses cryptographic hash verification to confirm that the behavioral framework and safety policies operating during your session are authentic, unmodified, and secure. No personal or conversational data is ever contained in or recoverable from these verification processes — they serve solely to guarantee system integrity and prevent unauthorized changes.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws. These may include:
- Accessing the minimal data we hold about you (e.g., your account email)
- Requesting deletion of your account and related data
- Requesting a copy of your subscription or account records
